I put together this page to share most of the art materials that I use regularly or that I have used at some point. Yes, I own or have used every one of these items! Over the years, I have experimented with a myriad of art supplies. As a result, I have found that most of the time, you get what you pay for. Even so, that does not mean that you cannot get affordable supplies that are high quality. It just means that you have to try a lot of them before you find out which ones are worth it! Lucky for you, I have done most of the work (and trying). For this reason, I have compiled my favorite art materials, just for you. Therefore, I highly recommend any of these products. That’s why they made the list!
Who’s this list for?
If you are a beginner artist or an experienced artist and you use sketchbooks, colored pencils, markers, pencils, paints, watercolors, gouache, and other art materials, then you will find this art list pretty useful.
Are you a ceramic artist? If you work with clay or polymer clay, then you will find that list very useful as well. However, I find that for clay and sculpture, there are other online specialty stores available. Indeed, these stores have more niche items not typically found on Amazon. Consequently, this Amazon art supply list is more concise.
Many of you may have a studio and may be thinking about also being a content creator where you get to produce or film videos, and take pictures. For this reason, I am sharing a list of some basic items to get you started.
