I like to mix my work and switch between the human figure and animals. I have made a few heads and torsos lately and I bring some nature elements usually, but these are always secondary to the human form. This time I wanted to take a family of birds. A while back I drew a mom bird with two small birds under her wings. I wanted to make something similar, but what is interesting is that unintentionally the family looks a bit like the Angry Birds. I plan on using oxides and stains, so the final ceramic work will be very unique.
